Buy the Child/Teen Rosea Top or Dress sewing pattern from Petits D'om. The Rosea Top or Dress can be sewn from woven or jersey fabric. The woven version has a teardrop opening at the back to go over the head. The gathered ruffles are integrated into the front and back pieces and can be finished with trim, such as a pretty lace braid or mini pompons. The top has options for a gathered peplum and pintucks at the front neckline. There is an optional belt for the dress to tighten the waist.

Suggested fabrics: Woven fabric (such as poplin, batiste, viscose, Liberty, cotton veil) or jersey. For the belt of the dress, choose a non-stretchable fabric.
Fabric requirements:
Main: 140 cm (54″) wide fabric: Top, 50 - 100 cm (1/2 - 1 1/8 yd) // Dress, 70 - 190 cm (3/4 - 2 yd).
Optional belt: 140 cm (54″) wide fabric: 10 - 20 cm (1/8 - 1/4 yd).
Sizing: 2 – 16 years. Please check the designer’s size chart.
Notions: For woven fabric only: trim to edge the ruffles, 90 - 160 cm (1 - 1 3/4 yd); to close the back opening: thin cord/round elastic + one button, one hook and eye, or embroidery thread.
