Suggested fabrics: This style is designed for a light to medium weight woven fabric with nice drape, such as rayon challis, rayon crepe, rayon voile, cotton lawn, cotton voile, cotton shirting, linen, double gauze.
Fabric requirements:
Blouse: 44" (112 cm) wide fabric: 2 - 4 yd (1.8 - 3.7 m) // 54" (137 cm) wide fabric: 1 1/2 - 3 yd (1.4 - 2.8 m).
Dress: 44" (112 cm) wide fabric: 2 1/2 - 4 yd (2.2 - 3.7 m) // 54" (137 cm) wide fabric: 2 - 3 1/2 yd (1.8 - 3.2 m).
Optional sleeve lining: 1/2 yd (0.5 m) of the main fabric or a lighter weight woven if lining View A sleeves.
Sizing: US 0 ā 30 with A/B and C/D bust cup options (approx. UK 8 ā 30, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.
This pattern includes two bust cup options, and the cup size is determined by calculating the difference between the high and full bust.Ā If the difference between your high bust and full bust is between 0ā and 2ā (5 cm) use the A/B cup. If the difference is between 2ā (5 cm) and 4ā (10 cm) use the C/D cup. If you have more than a 4ā (10 cm) difference, you may need a full bust adjustment.
Notions: 1 yd (1 m) of 20" (52 cm) tricot fusible interfacing.
